Stereoscopic Displays and Applications conference 3D Survey
and
"Fixing my Gaze" Book Competition

The Stereoscopic Displays and Applications conference and Basic Books are proud to announce the giveaway of 5 copies of the new book “Fixing My Gaze: A Scientist’s Journey into Seeing in Three Dimensions” by Susan R. Barry (Stereo Sue as Oliver Sacks dubbed her).

Fixing My Gaze     Susan Barry had been cross-eyed and stereoblind since early infancy - that is until she underwent specialized vision therapy and at the age of 48 she gained stereoscopic vision.  After half a century of perceiving her surroundings as flat and compressed, she now experienced the deliriously novel sense of immersion in a three dimensional world.  “Fixing My Gaze” describes her remarkable journey and celebrates the joyous pleasure of our senses.
The book is available now from many good book retailers.

To be in the draw to win one of five copies of the book (kindly donated by Basic Books) please complete the short survey below.  Please note that there is a qualifying question at the end of the survey that you need to get right.
